Dr Marcus Yan

Marcus is a Specialist Endodontist and maintains his private practices in Sydney, Bondi Junction and Miranda.

He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery 1994 at the University of Sydney and Master of Dental Science in Endodontics in 2001 at the University of Queensland. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and Member of the RACDS in the specialist field of Endodontics. Marcus is also a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and International College of Dentists.

Marcus has published papers in the Australian Endodontic Journal and Annals of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

Marcus was the past president of the Australian Society of Endodontology (NSW) in 2007/2008 and is the current counsellor member (Australia) of Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation, member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, and associate member of the American Association of Endodontists. 

Marcus was a Captain of the Royal Australian Army Reserve of the Dental Corps. He has been regularly involved with Continuing Education in Dentistry at the University of Sydney since 2002 and has participated as a visiting lecturer at the University of Sydney. In 2015, Marcus was appointed as the Guest Professor for the Master Endodontics program at the International University, Cambodia. Marcus lectures both nationally and internationally. He has particular interests in rotary instrumentation and surgical endodontics.
